Omelets make for a quick and cheap meal, and they are easy to dress up a bit, to use as a vehicle for vegetables to serve a picky toddler, or to rid the fridge for something that needs to be done with ASAP. Tonight we (the boys) had broccoli omelet with cheese and salami, and it was a huge success. Here’s the how to, and
Porridge a´Plenty – Formula Version
For a healthy, easy, cheap and delicious meal, porridge is it. You can pack it with flavour and nourishment by switching between grains like oatmeal, buckwheat, millet and five-grain mix, and combine them with fruit, berries, spices, and oils. The possible variations are pretty close to endless, and our boys positively love it. Please note, that this recipe is for formula-based porridge. I will update
Toddler’s Tray – Sweet Potatoe and Lentil Patties
This is one of my favorite recipes. These patties are tasty, healthy, freeze well, and are easy for a toddler to eat unassisted. Use them as a snack, as a side-dish or even as a main-course. They have great nutritional value. And they are delicious! – I eat them too, but add salt to mine. Ingredients 4-5 sweet potatoes 2,5 dl lentils (uncooked) or ca.
Food-Muffins with Blueberry, Coconut and Carrot
Just like the other recipe for food-muffins, this recipe makes healthy, sugar-free, and delicious food-muffins that are great for an afternoon snack, or as an easy meal on the go. You can pretty much change the recipe as you please (see guidelines/cheat-sheet on the bottom of this #Link page), but here’s how I like to make them, and our boys love to eat them: Dry
Pumpkin Spread

Ingredients: * Pumpkin slices (I used a 1/4 Hokkaido, for a spread serving 3 one-year-olds) * Chunk of butter (1 tbs
Toddler’s Teatime: Food-Muffins with Pear, Apple, Squash, Beans and Yogurt
This is one of my favorite recipes (ie. our toddlers love them!) for a healthy, tasty and easy afternoon or on-the-go snack (the other one you’ll find here#Link). It came about as I was tidying up the fridge, and I urge you to have the same unceremonious approach to baking them, as I had inventing them. Leave out stuff or exchange as you please –
Toddler’s Tray Basics
As a mother of three toddler’s I’m pretty effing busy, and whether you have one, two, three or more little ones, you are likely to be as well. Toddlers are hard work. And they can also be expensive to feed, if you want to provide them with un-processed, varied or even organic food. For this reason it’s good to have some basics and routines in
