August it is!

As you are probably aware, this is not the month of February. Nor is it April. The month I optimistically announced I would re-open this blog, and the month I subsequently – and even more optimistically – postponed said opening to.

It is in fact August, and although our new home still isn’t completely done, and probably won’t be completely done for quite a while, I figured what the he**. Now is as good a time as any, to get this blog back on track. For if there isn’t one thing to attend to, there is another. So is life with triplets. And at least we have a toilet now.

You see, this whole moving-thing has been a monster of dimensions, as we not only had to wait a long time to take over the new apartment, but also had to redo it completely. Tear up the old impossibly crooked and worn-down floors, level the foundation, and put in new ones. Knock down walls. Fix up walls. Build a kitchen from scratch. And did I mention we didn’t have an actual bath, shower, nor a toilet for a full month? No fun I tell you.

But now all rooms are fully functioning, the toilet has trickling water a’plenty, and our family finally have the frame of a proper
home. With space enough for the boys to have their own (shared) room, and with easy access to the city-dweller’s outdoors, a nearby park. As we now live in a ground-floor apartment we can finally get out as much as we, the boys, and the weather likes and allows respectively, and that is a complete life-changer. We are in heaven. And we are enormously grateful to both friends and family, who has helped us out a ton, since we sold our old apartment back in October. Thanks y’all!

And now for the grand announcement; Blog-updates will now recommence and this time it’s for real! See you next week!
